Parking at Adur Recreation Ground
Parking is available on site at Adur Recreation Ground. Please note that for the event we have access to the front car park only, so spaces will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
There is plenty of additional public parking within Shoreham-by-Sea and within walking distance of the event. We recommend allowing a little extra time on race morning in case you need to use one of the surrounding car parks.
Where possible, drop-offs and car sharing are encouraged to help reduce congestion around the recreation ground.

Arriving by Car
Adur Recreation Ground is located on Brighton Road (A259) beside the River Adur.
Please be aware that, because of the road layout around the bridge, you may not be able to turn directly into the recreation ground when approaching from one direction.
If required, continue to the nearby roundabout, go around the roundabout and return towards Adur Recreation Ground from the opposite direction.
Please do not attempt U-turns or sudden manoeuvres on Brighton Road.
Drop-Offs
Being dropped off is a great option on race morning and will help reduce demand for parking.
If you are being dropped off, please keep your stop brief and make sure you do not obstruct Brighton Road, the entrance to Adur Rec or access required by other vehicles.
Please Plan Ahead
With a large number of runners arriving on Sunday morning, we recommend planning where you intend to park before travelling and allowing sufficient time to walk to the event village and your start area.
